Description

Utterly lovely, this nude chiffon and lace number was for me but requires too much altering so i decided to sell it on instead as I am sure it will find an appreciative new home!

The base is putty coloured with a hint of blush, and is silk (I´m pretty sure) chiffon over an acetate lining. The lace is a paler beige, forming an illusion effect on the bodice.

Fastens to the rear with a concealed nylon zipper which i think is original - I would date this as 1960s, and nicely made.

Label: No cloth label present, but card makers order label in seam (pictures)

Fabric: I believe it´s silk chiffon over acetate

Measures: Bust 36" plus darts, waist 27" comfortably, and hips 38" approximately. From shoulder to hem the length is c. 39"

Condition: Excellent. one tiny hole in the chiffon layer wear the fine fabric has snagged on something maybe? I don´t think it´s from wear as there isn´t much evidence that this dress has been worn, As the top layer is fixed to the similarly coloured lining it´s very hard to spot - pictured. Ready to take out to dinner!
