Gorgeous full skirted early ´50s cotton full skirted backless halterneck summer dress with matching short sleeved bolero.

The print reminds me of antique book plates, very pretty! Background is a pale green, almost verging on aqua. I think it may have faded very slightly with washing over the years so have priced it down a little, but it´s still fabulous. The wing bust is accented with cotton pique in white, as are the ´v´ shaped skirt pockets - and trimmed with white ball buttons.

The bolero closes with a matching single ball button and hole just below the bustline.

Label: None, but commercially made as an old size label (42 I think)

Measures: Bust 36" - waist 28" - hips freesize - waist to hem the skirt length is 26" (think it may have been raised slightly, has handstitched hem)

Condition: Very good, no damage - as I said it´s maybe not as vibrant as it once was but am not 100% on that. Washed, pressed and ready to wear!
