I am not a definitive authority on everything vintage, much as I would like to be. I try my best to research and date items as accurately as possible, and would never intentionally misrepresent something.

In each item´s description I try and mention any key features or construction methods, fastenings etc. - and also predominant colours and patterns as I realise a computer monitor is not always as reliable as you would wish it! If there is anything in particular you need to know about an item that hasn´t been mentioned, or you would like to know/see in more detail again, do enquire.

Vintage clothing will most likely have had a life before it comes to you as a new owner. Whenever I have acquired an item and have been able to obtain even the slightest bit of history, I´ve kept a record of it with the item. The history of these items and their previous lives is a big part of my interest, possibly equal with the aesthetic appeal! This is always included in the description, and a note will be included with the item so no one forgets...
